Department of Omnishambles

Department of Omnishambles, Faculty of the Inhumanities

Great academicians dealing with real academy issues. As Kierkegaard says,

"When one has once fully entered the realm of love, the world — no matter how imperfect — becomes rich and beautiful, it consists solely of opportunities for love. Having said that, I really wanted to blow someone’s brains out when my painstaking restructuration of the examination timetable for the 2nd year undergraduate philosophy imploded due to a mislabelling of room availability on the 29th. Total clusterfuck."

Right up our alley.

  1. These are great! I especially like the Melanie Klein one, which reads in part:

"the “National Student Survey”, which is in its bones an imposition akin to mass psychosis, a false “good breast” offered up and utterly undermining any capacity they may have had for self-determination and ego-separation, by inserting their ego demands wholly into a quantifiable and capitalist schema in which the possibility of love and real growth is absent. The teacher or lecturer is thus rendered as the unavailable “bad breast.” It really gets on my tits."
